TRIPTYCH | TRİPTİK

 

A triptych is a work of art that is divided into three sections. This style was frequently used in medieval art and refers to the artworks displayed in three pieces today. Triptych photography may consist of separate images that are variants on a theme, or may be one larger image split into three. The photographs are usually arranged with a plain border between them and displayed either horizontally or vertically. 

 

Triptik, yan yana ve birbiriyle ilişkili olarak sergilenen resim çalışmalarıdır. Ortaçağ’da sıklıkla kullanılan bu stil, günümüzde üç parçadan oluşan sanatsal çalışmalardan bahsederken de kullanılmaktadır. Triptik fotoğraflar aynı temayı ele alan farklı görsellerin bir araya getirilmesiyle veya büyük bir fotoğrafın üç parça halinde sergilenmesi ile oluşturulabilir.
